Okay so not really. I'm not going to do an exposé on my own family, right? Or am I?
I kid. Guys, I can't do the cutesy names. I can't call Jake "hubs or hubby" all the time. I just can't. So you get to know his name. A little about us: We are a crazy little family from all over. First, we have Jake. He's been in the Marine Corps for a long freaking time. He loves working out and watching nerdy TV. His favorite things are his phone, his workout equipment, and me (duh).
Then there's me, KaLeigh. I'm a huge nerd, bibliophile, PLN, aspiring author. I'm a dreamer. I love getting lost in a book or losing myself in a beautiful landscape. I do not like working out (sorry babe). My favorite things are my MacBook, my books, and Disney.
Then there's B. She's nine and she is an absolute free spirit. She's wild and untethered to reality 90% of the time. I'm trying really hard to nurture that creative spirit of hers. Her favorite things are her night-night (a blanket she's had since birth), art supplies, and her laptop.
Next up is Baby J. He's almost ten months! Yes, yes, we have quite the age gap in our littles. He was a surprise after trying for seven years and finally giving up. Boom! Here comes Baby J. He is stubborn and everything that everyone always told me my second child would be, since my first is basically perfect. His favorite things are his sassy (pacifier) and boobs.
Finally we have our two wild pups. Marvel is a 75-pound force of love, as in he will force love on you. He's a boxer. Luna is a skittish (after five years) Australian Shepherd mix that we adopted in Louisiana. She is a rescue and was severely abused before we adopted her, so she's got some anxieties.
Jake and I have been married for ten years. We have moved four times, and this PCS move to Germany will be our fifth move. We still act like children 90% of the time, and we basically think we are hilarious. To us, we are.
That's a bit about us, if you have more questions, just ask!
